July is all about Mental Health!

July is a significant month for raising awareness about mental health in minority communities. Since its declaration in 2008, National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month has been a time to acknowledge and explore the unique challenges faced by racial and sexual minority groups. These communities often experience higher levels of anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies, and other mental health disorders. Unfortunately, societal prejudice and discrimination contribute to feelings of rejection, estrangement, and harassment.
